Although we specialise only in bedbugs we occasionally encounter other issues, often when general pest control companies have failed to identify the source of the problem.

Sometimes this has been linked to carpet beetles which although they do not bite people they can be the source of an irritation that can appear “bite like”.

The solution can be as simple as removing shoes and socks until you are able to remove the hairs which are the source of the irritation.

The hairs of carpet beetles can cause irritation.
