Client Confidentiality

We always fully respect the confidentiality of our clients, which is why all of our vehicles are unmarked.  We do not wear bright highly visible clothing or safety suits, and we will not attempt to turn your home into something out of a Hollywood Sci-Fi film, with pipes and tubes running to the windows and doors like Ghostbusters or ET.

Health and Safety

All our work is carried out to the highest standards with due regard of health and safety, as evident from our membership to independent schemes.  Furthermore no work will be carried out until any infestation is confirmed and the extent of the problem has been identified.

Bedbug infestations occur in all environments, and are an indication that someone has recently been in a location that has been exposed to bedbugs, rather than a reflection of your own facility.

Few reputations are more easily damaged than those of healthcare facilities, where people do not expect to encounter such problems.  It is therefore essential that the situation is brought under control speedily and efficiently.

Our technicians will work with your infection control and facilities teams to eradicate the infestation and ensure that appropriate procedures are in place to ensure that they are able to respond rapidly to any future bedbug issue.  This will ensure that there is minimal disruption and impact on both patients and your support staff.

Reactive

Should your organisation suspect an infestation of bedbugs we will assess the problem and advise what needs to be done to get you back into full operational status as quickly and efficiently as possible.  In many cases this is following the first treatment visit and within a few hours of arriving on site.  As specialists in bedbugs, consequently we are one of the few companies who understand infestation dynamics well enough to work without a reliance on chemicals.

Although we can take on immediate need clients our preference is to establish appropriate control and procedures prior to being engaged on the first case for you.

ProActive

The full benefits of our service and knowledge come from our Pro-Active stance with bedbugs,  through the development of staff training, formal procedures,  and passive monitoring.  Once installed and operational this allows early detection of the introduction of bedbugs to an area, enables  the problem to be resolved in a matter of hours,  with no need to put the area out of service, and before any infestation can spread.

Simple 30 second once a week checking can keep you ahead of the problem and results in a sharp reduction in guest complaints due to bedbugs, something we are always pleased to hear.

Overview

Bedbug infestations within the clinical environments can be an extremely distressing and have the potential to spread very quickly throughout any facility. We can provide treatment solutions to suit the needs of both   acute care services and residential care homes,

A through our understanding of the clinical environment, plus the support of a formally documented processes and procedures, enables us to precisely identify the cause of the infestation and efficiently effect corrective action, at the work places.  We are able to work with minimal disruption to the clinical environment and by the implementation of advanced protocols, are able to treat open plan areas, even during a busy work schedule.

If an infection is suspected, we request that you leave the area quarantined until, we arrive to assess the problem. This avoids disturbing potential signs of an infestation and prevents inadvertent  contamination of non-infected areas within the property.  This can prevent a minor infestation becoming more major and involving multiple rooms.

We recommend the installation of Passive Monitors, once an infestation has been resolved. These can be installed during the treatment, and can be checked by your staff to ensure that any future occurrences will be detected at the earliest possible opportunity.  This provides speedy detection and should enable any future issues to be dealt with cost effectively, by a deep cleanse and Passive Monitor replacement.
